Prepare two large baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or hand mixer with a large bowl, cream together COWS Creamery butter and sugar until soft and creamy. Mix in the egg and vanilla.
Add the flour and mix until just combined. Add milk, if needed add in another 1 tsp milk for a more pipe-able consistency - add as little as possible for less spreading though.
Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a 8B tip or a large open star tip.
Pipe dough into rounds onto the two baking sheets. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake one sheet at a time in preheated oven until golden brown on bottom, about 12 - 15 minutes. Cool on baking tray for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
Optional: Dip cooled cookies into melted chocolate - dark, milk or white. Add sprinkles and box up for a cute Holiday gift.
