I'm so excited to partner with COWS Creamery and their delicious butter to bring you these Holiday Butter Cookies. I love Butter Cookies, they are so nostalgic for me and definitely bring back all the warm and fuzzy Christmas feels. You can certainly taste the difference with quality and premium COWS Creamery butter. It has 84% milk fat which gives it a richer, creamier taste. Trust me, you'll be eating it straight out the package. Pop them in a box or tin for a cute Holiday gift.

Based on Prince Edward Island, Canada, COWS Creamery doesn't just make delicious butter, they have a variety of cheddar cheeses with worldwide recognition and awards.

One thing I love is that COWS Creamery offers Creamery Boxes, these boxes are perfect for Holiday entertaining and baking or better yet send one as a Holiday gift! A great selection of different boxes for you to pick from with their cheeses, butters, biscuits, chocolates and other local products - you can even build your own with all your favourite products!

    Ingredients:

    • COWS Creamery Butter
    • Granulated Sugar
    • Pure Vanilla Extract
    • An Egg
    • All-Purpose Flour
    • Milk

    Equipment:

    • Two Baking Sheets
    • Parchment Paper or Silicone Baking Mat
    • Electric Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
    • Large Bowl
    • Piping Bag
    • 8B Tip

    Instructions:

Prepare two large baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or hand mixer with a large bowl, cream together COWS Creamery Butter and sugar until soft and creamy. Mix in the egg and vanilla.

Add the flour and mix until just combined. Add milk, if needed add in another 1 tsp milk for a more pipe-able consistency - add as little as possible for less spreading though.

Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a 8B tip or a large open star tip.

Pipe dough into rounds onto the two baking sheets. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Bake one sheet at a time in preheated oven until golden brown on bottom, about 12 - 15 minutes. Cool on baking tray for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire cooling rack.

Optional: Dip cooled cookies into melted chocolate - dark, milk or white. Add sprinkles and box up for a cute Holiday gift.
